How do you make something common exciting?

Role

I was tasked with running their day to day campaigns for three of their in-house brands.

Background

The ask

Ventura has many brands, and we ran campaigns for three of them: Hidden Valley, SunGlow, and SauceCraft.

To come up with and run their advertising campaigns, as well as create and manage their landing pages.

strategy

Most of their campaigns focused on lead generation, which proved difficult when using Google as a channel. The main concern was how to make sure that the leads Ventura was receiving were qualified. We helped by making our keywords more narrow and creating an extra question on the form fields on the landing pages and in-app lead forms.

1. Making sure that you are staying in scope is essential! Once you do one thing outside of scope, it becomes expected and soon you are over budget and over hours.

2. And again, being detailed oriented is a must! Projects that run at the same time can get confusing, so it is important to be buttoned up and not mix projects, or else account, creative, media, and dev teams will all be confused!
